On Sunday, July 4th, 2010, the Heinrich Böll Foundation, in cooperation with the Islands’ Council will present a concert of Serap Yağız & Suların Uğultusu (SYSU).
They will perform only using solar energy! Access is open to everyone, the entry is free.
The concert will be a part of the Heinrich Böll Foundation Regional Summer School "Climate Change, Intelligent Energy Policies and Nuclear Energy", taking place on Heybeliada from July, 3rd to July 8th. Participants from Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Turkey were selected to discuss the state of recent energy policies, potential of renewable energies and energy efficiency in the Middle East and Turkey and its possible impact on sustainable development with regard to climate change.
The Summer School will address challenges and opportunities in achieving intelligent energy policies and in contributing to sustainable and ecological development.
